Seriously, I could not stop reading it. It was just too exciting to make me crave more to read it continuously. The first time I read this novel, I was just so speechless and mesmerized by the author’s beautiful words. The novel is overly engaging and amusing.
The story was about a girl that has fallen pregnant and barely knew the man she slept with, totally no idea who the father was. Bringing shame to the Davis family, she was abandoned by her father, left with nothing. Samatha Davis was her name, and she raised her twins, Kyle and Kenzie herself, with the help of her aunt Diana, the sister of her deceased mom. Luckily, she had her supportive grandmother, who was willing to send her some money to survive.
Could you imagine how sad her life was? Realizing that her beloved father, General Winfield Davis chose to forsake her over one mistake she did. It must be an awful misery to be judged as a disgraceful girl by her father, who she truly loves. He even expected Sam to have an abortion. How would her kids feel when they know that their grandfather wanted to terminate them.
Sam was only twenty-one years old at that time. It was a tough journey for her to be a single mother. Her kids were somehow very smart, adorable, and always curious about their daddy. They were always eager to figure out by themselves when their mommy was always avoiding finding their daddy. As a reader, I was so also very eager to figure out who the father was. Fortunately, when her aunt decided to take early retirement, she had the chance to pursue her passion for Culinary. She became a truly amazing chef in a four-star hotel in Monroe City. Her life changed after she met the most powerful businessman in the city, Mr. Ethan Wright, the one who surprisingly looked like Kyle, Samantha’s son. What do you think will General Davis say if Mr. Wright was the father of Sam’s kids?
Before I spoil too much, I bet you would love to figure it out by yourself. I highly recommend you guys who love romance, comedy, and family novels to read this one! It is undoubtedly worth it. Trust me. I have never been so obsessed with novels until I found this on GoodNovel. I bet you would also love some plot twists! I don’t know how to express my enjoyment of this novel further. The point is that IT IS A BINGE WORTHY NOVEL!!! I even wish this story will become a movie series or something. I could not stop imagining how the scenes would look like for real.
